Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Three Count LLC ("Three Count," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our platform at threecount.com and any websites powered by Three Count (collectively, the "Services"). This policy applies to both promoters (businesses using our platform) and ticket buyers (fans purchasing tickets through our platform).

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Promoters:

  • Name, email address, and account credentials when you register
  • Business name, address, and contact information
  • Stripe account information collected during payment setup (managed by Stripe)
  • Content you upload: event details, fighter profiles, photos, videos, news posts

Ticket Buyers:

  • Name and email address at checkout
  • Billing address for payment verification
  • Payment card information (collected and stored by Stripe — not by Three Count)
  • Ticket purchase history associated with your email

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Services, we automatically collect:

  • IP address and general location (country/region)
  • Browser type, operating system, and device information
  • Pages visited, links clicked, and time spent on pages
  • Referring URLs (the site you came from before visiting ours)

This information is used to operate, maintain, and improve the Services. We use Vercel for hosting and analytics, which may collect standard web traffic data.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from:

  • Stripe, Inc. regarding payment status, identity verification results, and connected account status
  • Analytics providers that help us understand platform usage

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and maintain your account and provide the Services
  • Process ticket transactions and transfer funds to Promoters
  • Send transaction confirmations, tickets, and receipts to buyers
  • Send account and service communications to Promoters (billing, updates, support)
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and unauthorized use
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Improve and develop the platform

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes or share it with advertisers.

3. How We Share Your Information

3.1 With Promoters

When you purchase a ticket through a Promoter's site, your name, email address, and ticket purchase details are shared with that Promoter. The Promoter uses this information to manage event attendance and communicate with ticket holders. Promoters are responsible for their own data handling practices.

3.2 Service Providers

We share information with trusted service providers who help us operate the Services:

  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and Stripe Connect. Privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy
  • Supabase, Inc. — database hosting and authentication. Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy
  • Vercel, Inc. — website hosting and deployment. Privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy

These providers are contractually bound to use your information only to provide services to us and not for their own marketing purposes.

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Three Count, our users, or the public.

3.4 Business Transfers

If Three Count is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer and any resulting changes to this Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and comply with our legal obligations:

  • Promoter account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation, after which it is deleted upon request
  • Ticket purchase records are retained for 7 years for accounting and legal purposes
  • Technical logs are retained for up to 90 days

Upon written request, Promoters may receive an export of their customer data within 7 business days.

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Access and Correction

Promoters may update their account information at any time through the admin dashboard. Ticket buyers may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting us at doug@threecount.com.

5.2 Deletion

Promoters may request deletion of their account and associated data by cancelling their subscription and submitting a written deletion request to doug@threecount.com. We will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except for information we are required to retain by law.

Ticket buyers may request deletion of their information by contacting us at the email above. Note that we may retain transaction records for legal and accounting purposes even after deletion of personal profile data.

5.3 Email Communications

You may opt out of non-transactional marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any such email. You cannot opt out of transactional communications (receipts, ticket confirmations, account notices) while you have an active account.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
  • Row-level security on our database ensuring tenant data isolation
  • Stripe's PCI-DSS-compliant payment processing (Three Count never stores raw card data)

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at doug@threecount.com.

8. Third-Party Links

Promoter websites may contain links to third-party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on our website and, where appropriate, by email. Changes take effect on the "Effective" date shown at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
